Sunday

There has been a lot of fuss recently about the NHS, how it is funded, how it is underbudget and how it came underfire from some [seriously] misguided politicians.

Well, here is a radical thought, why don't we make it better? It wouldn't be difficult and it wouldn't need to cost us money. If we looked after ourselves better, then the NHS would be quids in!

If we all gave up smoking, the incidences of smoking related incidences would drop, slowly at first, but increasingly rapidly.

If we ate less fatty food and more and fruit veg, the incidences of heart and blood related illnesses would also decrease, again slowly at first.

If we drank less alcohol .....

If we exercised more .....

If we drove more carefully .....

Would life be bearable without pissing our money up the wall and eating McFat burgers and lardy Chips as we drag on our fags? Of course it would. You're sex life would buck up for a start, you'de have more money for holidays in the sun and so on and so on

I know its a bit radical, and I could have slipped a joke in there, but resisted, but seriously, if we looked after us, the nhs could become quite healthy.
